Happy Chinese New Year!

Hey awesome people, what's up?

Greetings from Pontian, Johore Bahru, Wishing everyone a Happy Chinese New Year! Gong Xi Fa Cai to all the Chinese people! Hope this year will be filled with great health, Luck and Prosperity :D

So today is the second day of CNY and i din't really have much to do...yeap.. honestly i'm still in my sleep attire. I didn't really go to other places to visit cause it already happened yesterday, really, we were all so busy and i was out for the whole day. 

So here are the pictures from yesterday and the day we arrived at Pontian
We reached KLIA around 12PM and drove to Pontian right away and we arrived at there around 4PM..image how long the journey is, maybe it's because we were caught up on some traffic jams. But we're glad we arrived early, since it's Family Reunion Night (Sa Chap Mei).

After dinner, we played fireworks..hehe :D

I also took my nephew to the nearby temple to watch the lion dance. 

At midnight, we set up fireworks, welcoming the first day of Chinese New Year.

Isn't it pretty? 

 

After that, we decided to set up the lanterns that floats up to the sky. In Chinese we call it 'kuang ming deng'. I dunno what it's called in english actually, I think it's called the floating lanterns.

We usually write something on it before setting it up into the sky. It's something like making a wish. c:

First day of CNY

So my aunt invited the lion dance crew on the first day to bring luck to the house

                                             

My outfit for the day is a dress that has a lace design on the top and a floral pattern at the bottom. I actually like the dress.

And also, I dyed the front part of my hair blue. Hope you can see it..well unless you're color-blind..just kidding xDD

Tomorrow I'll be heading to Singapore with cousins. Can't wait~
